The Visiting Chef Series on Sunday was yet another successful event for the Hillcrest Farmers Market. Kosta's (of Lisko Imports) vivacious personality intrigued market attendees as they stopped to watch our fourth chef in the series. Audience members and people passing by could smell the mushroom risotto as it sizzled in Kosta’s pan. He asked volunteers to help him stir the risotto as he worked on the bruschetta. The audience agreed, after sampling his tasty treats, that each of these recipes were equally delicious! Kosta will have the printed recipes available at his booth this Sunday for anyone who wishes to try them out at home. Artist at the Market- On May 2nd , featuring local artist Tim Latham who will be doing a live art demonstration inspired by Hillcrest.
Arts and Crafts- On May 9th, in celebration of Mother’s Day, miniature pots and flowers will be provided for a flower potting bonanza!
