Easter Sunday at the Hillcrest Farmers Market was full of lively market patrons wandering the aisles with their colorful bouquets and fresh produce. The warm weather was perfect for our Easter arts and crafts event. Kids of all ages came to the Information Booth to decorate their own Easter bunny masks with a variety of festive adornments. While some chose make simple masks, others glued just about every decoration they could find to their art project! This event provided the market with some great entertainment for the whole family. Don’t miss our next crafting event on May, 9th for Mother’s Day as we get our hands dirty for a gardening celebration of motherhood. Miniature pots and flowers will be provided for a flower potting bonanza!
Save the date for the next Visiting Chef Series! On April 18th from 1pm-2pm, market vendor Kosta Houdalakis of Lisko Imports will be using farmer’s market products to demonstrate how to create a simple bruschetta as well as delicious risotto.
